Body Shop horrible return and exchange policy
I bought products from bellevue square body shop, WA for an offer of buy 3 get 3 free. I bought vitamin E cream for $32, vitamin E cream for$22, and Rose face pack for $28.With the above products i got 3 items free.The purchase was made on 10th december.The sales lady asked me about opening membership card and that i will get 10% off which i got after opening my account.IMy final bill was $90 and change.
After i returned home i used vitamin e cream only once which instantly dried up.Since i bought 2 packs of vitamin e cream i thought it proper to return the items .On 12th december at 10:30 in the morning i went to the body shop bellevue square,WA and expressed my desire to return the items. I wanted to buy ginger shampoo and vitamin e cream exclusive for dry skin. I went for buy 2 get one offer and got one free gift which was again ginger shampoo. I bought 3 travel packs of face packs also worth 5 $.So the total came to $14+22+5$=$39 and with taxes comes to near about $43.The sales lady said i can go for exchange but she didnt inform me that i will lose all my perks like 10% and 10$ off .
Had she informed me i could go for complete new purchase returning all previous products instead of exchange.Also she returned me only $35:90 from exchange which should have to be $90-43=47$.SO the refund was supposed to be $47 but i was returned only$35:90.Counting my 10% off on $39 had to be about $4 . So the final figure which body shop company owes me is $12+$4=$16.I hope company will refund my money as soon as possible

Didnt get my full refund on return
Just now returned from body shop so disgusting.Had bought moisturing vitamin e big and small pack and along with that rose face pack on 10 th december having buy 3 get 3 offer from body shop bellevue square mall washington.I combined with the offer 2 ginger shampoo and 1 vitamin e cream for dry skin.applied vitamin e moisturing cream just once but it dried up so quickly so thought of returning them.And on 12 december i go to body shop .The sales lady doesnt inform me that if i returned items i will lose my 10 % off thing.otherwise i could have returned everything and made a completely a new purchase. On 10 dec my bill was $90 where they didnt inform me that if i go for body shop card i have to pay $10 extra.Today the sales lady did exchange without letting me know that i lose all perks and even donot get 10% off on the exchange products.I returned vitamin cream $32,vitamin e cream $22 and rose face mask $28 and bought one vitamin e cream for dry skin worth $22 , one ginger shampoo costing $14 and 3 travel packs offace masks cost $5.Along with taxes the amount comes to$41.It was $49 i was to be returned but i was refunded $35.92.It is so unfortunate that a brand like body shop misguides its customers with misleading prices and inadequate iinformation.Hope this review will help other customers out there.

'Lost' my card renewal.
I was a Body Shop customer for over 20 years and love their tea tree line and Unscented choices. Renewed my discount card and came in about a week later to find they had NO RECORD OF ME IN THEIR SYSTEM.
I tried several times to see if the records could be found to no avail. I stopped shopping there. Head office found my initial card membership but no record of the renewal. I recycle and the receipt was long gone.
Poor customer service and zero follow-up.
Lost me as a customer for good. I did speak to the store manager who said without a receipt she would not honour my renewed card.

The exact same thing just happened to me. So, they're not just out the 10% discount for the remainder of the membership term that I paid for (which would have amounted to maybe $10 or $15), but they're now out the thousands I would have spent as a customer in my remaining years. Kind of disappointed, but the products are no longer unique in the market, so I will happily take my business elsewhere.
